    "Antique 1750-1800 CARVED Powder HORN FRENCH INDIAN Revolutionary WAR - a great powder horn - nice carving around the top.  We sell items just as found.  It is in good aged early condition- there are worm holes and surface wear as expected.  See all photos for your review of condition.
    View my other auctions for additional fine period items.It is difficult to measure exactly but here is what I have for you.  The length form top to end
    along the side is approx 6 6/16"and the measurement if the horn is standing is approx 4 6/16" from bottom to top- this is where the measurement is done from bottom to top and not along side the horn.  The base where the wood end is approx 2.5" wide."

    At age 70  the grand kids have told me that they have no interest in any of the collections in the family’s traveling museum-- MOCAPA. A bit disappointing to hear but well understood in the 21st century. Plus, for me, collecting lacks the attraction that it had in years past as well as the steward collectors. Thanks, joe
