    ANTIQUE 1760 - 1770s FRENCH & INDIAN WAR - REVOLUTIONARY WAR BELT AX / TOMAHAWK WITH PART OF THE ORIGINAL HANDLE STILL PRESENT!  ALSO HAS AN OLD REPAIR TO MAKE THE BLADE LONG/SHARP AGAIN.  PROBABLY DONE AT THE FORT!
    FOUND BY FRANK KRAVIC (CO AUTHOR WITH GEORGE NEUMANN ON THE COLLECTOR'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION) ON PRIVATE LAND IN THE 1960S AROUND FORT TICONDEROGA IN UPSTATE NEW YORK.
    THE FORGED IRON HEAD MEASURES AROUND 4.5 X 2 5/8 X 2 INCHES.
    IN DUG BUT STABLE CONDITION.  HAS PART OF THE ORIGINAL WOOD HANDLE STILL PRESENT.
