1778 OR OLDER, RARE REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIERS STRANGE POWDER HORN SPRING LOADED TRAP" FILLER DOOR IN BACK; CALLED A FILLER SPRING' UN-HOOK ON SIDE AND FILL QUICKLY SHOOT QUICKLY, SHOWS SOME WEAR; SEE PHOTOS; THEIR WAS AN OLD HIDE STRING LAYING AROUND IN DITTY BOX, I PLACED IT ON; STRANGE SPRING COMPARTMENT TO FILL, THIS WAS USED TO FILL QUICKLY AND TIME OF WAR BACK THEN;
