Prince Kauikeaouli
and his sister
Princess Nahi'ena'ena
.
The cut copper etchings were based on the
Robert Dampier
paintings of 1824.
Kauikeaouli was in power at the time, but was too young,
so
Queen Ka'ahumanu
made the important decisions.
He was latter known as
King Kamehameha III
, the longest ruling King of Hawaii.

Museum quality custom Koa wood 'box style' 3D-like frame.
The intricate angled design of the edges and corners
raises the glass above the engravings.
The outside matting is slanted,
making the glass about 1"-2" away from the inside mat and engravings.
Thick frame, high quality, very sturdy.
Beautiful!
engravings are 196 years of age.
comes with appraisal letter and a COA.
