    A vine that might be indigenous.
    Was used as a famine food in times of food scarcity.
    It grows in coastal and sunny mesic area as a ground cover climbing plant with purple flowers in the Morning Glory Family.
    Mrs. Francis Sinclair, Jr. was from the Sinclair-Robinson Family
    mostly known as owners of the island of
    Niʻihau for the last 158 years.
    Today, although the state records list them separately,
    if you combined the Robinsons’ holdings of nearly 51,000 acres on Kauai
    and some 46,000 acres on Niʻihau,
    the family would be the sixth largest landowner in the state of Hawaii.
