    Offered in this 7-day auction is a c.1770-1790 Brass Cannon Barrel.  Likely used for powder testing or as a small signal cannon, this item was dug in the Charleston, SC area.  This could have also been a toy of course, but the item wasn't dug in an area where home sites or settlements have existed. Nice artifact and conversation piece!
