Delia Hudson, who was almost qualified to receive a teaching certificate, signed a teaching contract for School District 140 in Smith County, KS, May 8, 1924; then attended Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia to take required classes, which she finished Aug 8; and then August 23, 1924, she was awarded a Teacher Certificate so she could go to Smith County, KS, to teach for /month
Very good condition. Note that the documents have been folded to be put into an envelope.
Several of the surnames signed on the contract and certificate are probably still known in Emporia and Smith Co today.
