Description
These are very interesting 1940 Elementary level Duplicating Books using the Hectograph system. This Hectograph system predated the mimeograph machines. The masters found in these three booklets would be placed on a tray of gel for approximately 2 minutes. Then the teacher would press up to 50 pieces of paper on the gel saturated masters to create materials for her students. The booklets are all complete, no masters are missing from them. They are for Grade 1 and are entitled Reading, Mathematics , and Pre- Primer. They are not only fascinating because of the technology that has been replaced, but the teaching materials (worksheets) are a delightful look to the 1940's when children learned to read with 'Dick and Jane'.
