    National Retired Teachers Assoc BRASS MAGNIFYING GLASS, w/Logo, Circa Mid 1960s
    This solid brass National Retired Teachers Association (RTA) Magnifying Glass dates from the mid 1960’s. It comes from the estate of an elderly relative who received it as a gift to commemorate their retirement. It bears the logo of the RTA on its top and has a protective piece of felt on the bottom. The piece is 2 3/4" in diameter and unfolds to reveal a thick 2 1/2" magnifying glass rimmed in brass. This appears to be quite a rare item; we could not find another even vaguely comparable after an extensive web search
