K Authentic 1950s Gucci Umbrella Parasol Beach Rain Extremely Rare Bamboo Logo

Authentic and extremely rare umbrella by Gucci. From the 1950s. Has bamboo ribs which is extremely rare. The only similar umbrella is listed for 00+ and is missing the brass plaque and isn’t bamboo. Mine has the original import tag with “Made in Italy” and “100% Cotton”. Please see photos for condition. I haven’t tried cleaning it as I like the look but the new owner is more than welcome to fix it to their liking. No missing parts and all original. The umbrella is very old and should be treated with care. It has a lot of tension when open but that is supposed to be. I am comfortable using this but other may be more cautious so please look at the photos and make your best judgment. A few of the spines need to be sewn back into place if desired as they do move around but are easily placed back by hand, this can be fixed if desired with a simple needle and threaded. The umbrella works just fine. This is very large and would best be used at the beach during a sunny day. Fits two people underneath when placed on the ground. I added my laptop for scale. It’s larger than it appears in these pictures. This is also great as decor in an umbrella stand or used outside on a deck or patio. I would also use it on picnics as the wearing is just now getting nice. It’s an amazing collector’s item.
Authentic Vintage Gucci umbrella pattern displays the iconic GUCCI logo with horse bit print cloth pattern and a solid unique wood handle. The diameter of the umbrella is about 44 inches.
"GUCCI ITALY" is engraved on a gold plated rivet attached to the handle. Unique Solid Wooden Handle with Gold Gucci Emblem. "GUCCI ITALY" is imprinted on the tag.
This umbrella is very classic and stylish. The umbrella is in useable condition with wear on the cloth. Measurements: about 37.5 inches (total length); about 44 inch diameter.
