    Description

    Antique Victorian French 34" gnarled wood handled stamped "Lyon Maker" parasol with the Lion Logo
    Must have once been a very beautiful, luxurious parasol possibly to match one's dress.
    Rich cobalt blue silk sateen with turquoise lined mini pleats. The underside canopy was of
    cream silk to cover the metal ribs. Regrettably, the silk is damaged, but would provide a decent pattern.
    The handle is varnished natural gnarled wood.
    It is of one piece of wood to bottom and capped with  a brass finial.
    Company was French in the 1800-1900's
