Cracker/Biscuit Jar
that is Extensively Decorated in Floral Enamel and Accented with Gold.
The enameling is spectacular as you can see.
The embossing certainly is consistent with the Victorian era.
Gorgeous Victorian Period (c. 1877-1898).
Most beautiful blown art glass in cranberry color with enameled florals and leaves which are surrounded in metallic gold.  Exquisite and elaborate enamel painted decoration with floral motif.

Moser glass is made by a Bohemian glasshouse founded by Ludwig Moser in 1857. Moser is a luxury glass manufacturer based in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, previously Karlsbad in Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. The company is known for manufacturing stemware, decorative glassware (such as vases, ashtray, candlestick), glass gifts and various art engravings. Art Nouveau-type glassware and iridescent glassware were made. The most famous Moser glass is decorated with heavy enameling in gold and bright colors. Moser is one of the most collected of 20th century decorative glass and has been used everywhere from palaces to local restaurants.
Approximate measurements: This gorgeous piece is approx. 8.5" in total height with lid on (6" without lid), 4" at opening, 5" at the widest part and 3" at base diameter.  Lid is 4" wide and 3" tall including finial.
This Striking Piece weighs 1 Lbs., 5 oz.
Excellent gently used antique condition: general wear is commensurate with the age and light usage. Imperfections like bubbles & irregularities due to it being hand made.  As with any handcraft, minor imperfections are part of the charm.  No cracks, one tiny shallow chip on the side of the rim, not visible because it is under lid. A tiny bit of wear to gold on edge of rim but No noticeable wear to enamel! Super clean in and out! The jar has a highly polished pontil. There is plate loss on the lid.
