Description
Avianweb Sparkly SeaGreen Bird Harness & 6 Ft LeashWe named this harness for its beautiful brilliant Seagreen coloration. It is truly beautiful and complements birds with blue / green feather highlights ...
This bird harness protects the delicate keel-shaped sternum (chest bone) and distributes any force evenly over the harness vest. The vest is lined with a soft cotton layer.
It solved challenges of other harnesses: no more pulling wings through loops (which birds hate), easy and intuitive installation of the harness (without a steep learning curve). Note: birds still need to be slowly introduced and HARNESS TRAINED.
A D-Ring (for the leash) automatically slides from the front to the back as a bird is moving around eliminating uncomfortable sudden impact. Instructions for attaching the leash WITHOUT hardware is included with the instructions. Small birds in particular will be more comfortable if the weight is minimized.
The heavy-duty faux leather vest is made out of PVC-free Polyurethane and a comfortable Cotton Fleece backing. Unlike nearly all faux leathers, this material breathes just like genuine leather; it feels like leather, and is easy to maintain (simply wipe to clean).
Included is a 6 foot leash with a light, yet strong elastic cord is resistant to abrasion, mildew & UV sunlight. The stretchy cord can stretch up to TWICE its length.
A Frustration-free Leash Handle helps avoid entanglement of the bird leash a convenient leash handle to help keep the leash organized.
Personalization with your pet's name IS POSSIBLE -
as long as you leave us a note during the check-out process. Please note: edging a pet's name into a SMALL harness may not make sense. The writing would be difficult to read. However, a very short name may be okay. Personalizing larger harnesses is generally not a problem (of course, the longer the name, the smaller the name will appear on the harness) ... However,
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE personalization.
If we don't get the request in time, we will ship out the harness as featured in the listing. Thank you.

International Orders:
·
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The importer (the customer) will be responsible for paying those additional fees. These duties and fees may be collected by their local Customs Authorities or the local carrier will collect duties from the buyer upon delivery of the products.
Customer are encouraged to research any associated fees before placing an order.
·
Customs officials may require a local TELEPHONE NUMBER needed for contacting customers (if necessary); they may charge additional handling fees or delay delivery of the item, if this information is not available.
We understand that the cost of shipping and Customs fees / taxes may be considerable. In cases like this, replacing a harness that doesn't fit for one that does is considerable. For that reason, we'd like to make sure that our international customers get a harness that fits the first time. To this end, we often include two harnesses that cover the range a pet may need. But for that, we need to know more about a pet (species, weight, etc.).
if you provide us that information, we will be able to greatly increase your chances of getting a well-fitting harness!

Continued Product Development:
Because of our strong commitment to continuous product improvement, we reserve the right to make changes either in materials and models without notice.
A bird that doesn't like to be handled, can't be harness-trained.
Prior to wearing the harness, consider a clicker training system to appropriately train your bird. Clicker Training provides structured positive reinforcement and will lead to successful harness training, and teaching of tricks and preferred behaviors.
A bird’s handler is fully responsible for the safety and integrity of the bird
and the harness. Please inspect your pet’s harnesses, leash and any connections before putting it on your pet; and before taking your pet outdoors.
Birds can and will chew at any harness compromising its integrity over time. It is your responsibility to prevent any destruction to the harness. Proper training is a MUST. If your pet struggles, remove the harness immediately, as more training will be necessary.
