British Gov't marked Tower Lock Plate with Frizzen, & Frizzen Spring

Description

Revolutionary War period Tower Lock with Frizzen Spring, and Frizzen. This lockplate was used with the British Military Royal Navy Flintlock Sea Service Pistol known as the Revenue Cutter. The Lock is marked TOWER ,a crown over GR (King George III) and a crown over 22 on back.
Frizzen has smooth action. Condition appears very good given its age with the normal pitting and wear marks.
