    Description

You are bidding on a large original antique print from an 1880s illustrated journal. The quality of the printing from that era was exceptional.
The print depicts several views of the "new" facilities of the The City of London School, also known as CLS and City. It was and is an independent day school for boys in the City of London, England. The School was founded by a private Act of Parliament in 1834. The original school was established at Milk Street, moving to the Victoria Embankment in 1879 (shown here) and its present site on Queen Victoria Street in 1986.
A wonderful gymnasium is shown, as is a lively soccer football match in the courtyard.
    The print
is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
