    Description

    ELIJAH HUBBARD (1745-1808) was a lawyer and merchant in Middletown and New London, CT.  As a Patriot in the Revolutionary War for Connecticut, he rose to the rank of Commissary and Superintendent of stores for the army.  For 28 years, he was a member of the General Assembly and president of the Middletown Bank for a number of years.
