DISNEYLAND Illustrated Pre-Opening Postcard #P11888 Frontierland Mailed Sept. 55

Description

Color printed postcard measuring approx. 3 3/8 in. by 5 7/16 in.
The serial number is not readable on this card because it’s covered by the postage stamp, but I found an example of it online and P11888 was the number assigned to it.
Artist’s concept of “Frontier Land” showing the Mark Twain heading toward the shore at full steam. At upper right, on the white background, there’s a compass arrow pointing straight left to North, and there’s also a bit of text in tiny blue letters that says, “True Life Adventure Land”
Condition
- quite a bit of mild general wear including three circular-ish areas at LL where drops of something – probably water – have disturbed the surface of the image a bit; mild corner and edge wear; impression of part of the postmark shows through from the back somewhat; mild warping; light soil.
