This Portable Dehumidifier comes with 45 grams of rechargeable silica gel contained inside of a hard plastic canister. With our 45 gram container, you can place it in spaces up to 3.3 cubic feet, which makes it optimal for gun storage, ammo storage, toolboxes, and other areas where humidity is an issue. The top portion of the unit contains orange indicator beads that show when beads are dry and ready to adsorb again. These canisters are cordless, rechargeable, and can easily reactivate in the oven for reuse. Silica gel inside the canisters are reusable and versatile enough for use with several different items like with electronics, in storage bins, in camera bags and more. Silica gel desiccant is a non-toxic, non-flammable, and chemically inactive drying agent that adsorbs forty percent of its weight in moisture. Every single gel bead contains millions of surface pores that magically soak up water vapor. Our Dry-Packs Silica Gel Desiccant do not contain Cobalt Chloride (II) (Indicating Silica Gel that is blue in color has been linked as a possible carcinogenic to humans) and we offer a safer and equally effective alternative.
