Very good example with an elegant chiseled steel hilt and fine iron-wire grip, interesting and unusual crossguard finial turned to the side in oppose to most common down-turned configuration. Wearing a fine quality double-edged blade of hexagonal section, pierced and gold inlaid for the lower half, showing its original bright steel finish with lovely light patina throughout. Solid and overall intact on this lovely quality Revolutionary war example.
