This is a quality giclee print on Epson pro quality photo paper,
on an 8x10 inch backing mat **which is included as part of the print, note: top margin is slightly uneven (see photo)
, from an original black & white photograph from the early 1900's? that was hand colored, the print is shrink wrapped (you may be able to see it in the photo) with caption, Haleiwa history, and photography information on the back of the historic Haleiwa Hotel on the north side of Haleiwa town. This is from an older photo and the hand coloring and sharpness are grainy and older looking, please be aware of that. Be aware that they are not as sharp as newer computer prints because the originals were shot on older grainy black and white film and when enlarged will look grainier. They are still nice artistic and historic images. Our prices are less than you would pay retail at a gallery and production costs are lower than most folks so we want to offer affordable quality art for people who might not otherwise be able to afford it. We can also print to larger sizes, please inquire.

An 11x14 inch frame (or larger) with a custom cut mat from a frame shop or art store is the suggested way to display this photo. Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for  visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
