Description
This Hong Kong 100 Dollar banknote from 2008 was released with enhanced security features. It contains a 4-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with demetalized bauhinia flower and HK100 and a solid security thread for added security. Printed on the banknote's obverse side are a lion's head statue, a numeric 100 in gold-to-green OVI, and the HSBC logo. The reverse side features an aerial view of the Tsing-Ma Bridge, a tugboat, and the HSBC logo. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of the HSBC headquarters building and electrotype 100.
