Pink Speckled Kenwood 'Stardust' Vase
Up for sale is a large beautiful mid century glossy vase by Shawnee Pottery Company. It has the Kenwood 'Stardust' design. It is a pink speckled vase that is a little over 8" high and 6" wide at the top. It is 4" across at the base. On the base there is the letters USA and the number 2012. It is in great shape.
This vase is clean and solidly built with a nice gloss throughout it.
There are no chips or cracks or repairs on the inside or outside of the observable vase.
There are 4 feet on the base. On two of these feet there are small chips that are not readily seen but they are there.
There are 7 glaze indents from the manufacturing process
over three of the sides, not readily apparent but they can be seen
(they look like pin point indents under the glaze.) There is at least 22 of these indents on the inside (again not readily seen and part of the manufacturing process.) The outside surface has a nice speckled pink on its surface. The inside of the vase is not speckled but it is pink. The base is also pink and not speckled. Despite these blemishes this is a quite nice vase. It is quite collectible as well.
