MOSER ART GLASS PATCH BOX, CRANBERRY w/ ENAMELED DECOR

This listing is for a beautiful Moser Art Glass cranberry glass patch box with gorgeous gilt and enameled decoration, c. late 1800's.
Measures 1 3/8" high with a 2 1/4" top diameter.
This unusual box is ornately embellished on a cranberry glass body. The top has a heavy gilt application and elaborate design with gold enameled accents and white jewels. The base is also decorated with a hand enameled floral band in gold.
The hinge is tight and the box opens and closes freely. There is a plain brass band around the top and base with brass clasp.
This lovely box would be a nice addition to any collection of Victoriana or dresser boxes.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs! There is minor wear to the gilded brass bands (see photos) - no other noted flaws. This is one of the most unusual and stunning boxes you will find anywhere. You will absolutely love it!
