I am offering this fine old Moser type Bohemian vase that stands about 10 1/2" tall . It is done in a rich, rather dark ruby flashed color with applications of very heavy gold commemorative Coats of Arms around the 8 sides of the vase. The front scene  features the date of 8, October, 1840.
I assume this commemorates some important occasion.
The  vase has some small minor chips on the underside of the base where the underside has narrow cut ribbing. Base is scalloped and rather thick being 3/4" thick.
There is also some light scratching to the flashing near the edges of the top rim area which are on 3 of the panels. Not that noticeable at first glance but can be seen if you really look. This was the only way I actually discovered this was flashed glass and not a solid thru color.
There is just very minor wear to the heavy gold and hardly worth mentioning.
This truly is a beautiful antique piece of glass.
Comes from a Bohemian collector's estate, 2 years ago!
I am not the most knowledgeable on this glass so I do welcome any info so that it can be represented properly.
