  • Condition: I would grade this banknote as a net very fine with all the details being very well preserved. The note has a number of vertical folds, a horizontal fold, and general wrinkling. The note is lightly soiled with a distinct line of soiling on the back along the central vertical fold. There are also signs of rust from staples in the top margin as well as pinholes at from the staples. There is also graffiti "APRIL 1953" in blue ink in the bottom margin of the back. Because of the pinholes and the graffiti, we discussed, we are grading the note as Very Fine Net instead of a straight very fine or even extreme fine. The note retains some of its original stiffness, original crispiness, and some of its original sheen. The note has no tears or splits and the edges have minimum wear. The corners are squared and intact with some minor bumps and minimum rounding. The colors are still vivid and the design is well preserved. Please see scans for additional condition info.
