    Description

    Up for auction is this hand split OSAGE ORANGE bow stave. It is 60 inches long, 1 to 2 inches high, and 1 3/4 to 2 3/8 inches wide. It is straight and has very very little twist. The growth rings are medium to wide. I see no knots on the back. It was cut (live tree) 6-2021 and is sawed both sides---it split straight. The ends and back are sealed with polyurethane.
