Pre-Revolutionary War Officer's Snuff Box Dated 1753

Description

Pre-Revolutionary War Officer's Tobacco Horn, dated 1753, with crown-shaped hinge. Has the initials "I. M." inscribed in the lid. Was likely created in the colonies, and used during the French & Indian War & possibly the Revolutionary War. Has a few cracks and separations. Lg. 3 3/4 in.
