Very large and early but well made meat fork. I believe this to go into the late 1700's.  Reference similar example on page 299 in Neumann's
    EARLY AMERICAN ANTIQUE COUNTRY FURNISHINGS.
It was in case 3 of Dr. Francis Lord's revolutionary war collection.  He was a noted author and early collector of all military items.  I purchased his collection just prior to his death.  It appears the handle has been heavily bleached at one time.  Very well constructed meat fork.  Measures 15 1/4 inches long.  Photos describe it well.  Nice fork to add to your early kitchen ware collection.

Please see photos for more description and condition. All items sold "as is" and as described. These artifacts are old and have been used so expect wear and age defects unless noted otherwise. No returns unless description/photographs totally misrepresent item/s.
