    Description

    Item up for auction is a Proto 2000 diesel engine which is an SD-9 for the SOUTHERN PACIFIC.  It is heavily weathered and prototypically weathered after going through someting like 21 tunnels over the Cascade Mountain Range as it would do on a regular basis with it left the Eugene, Oregon yard.  Engine has been upgraded with Kadee metal working knuckle couplers on each end of the engine.  Road number is 5378.  Engine came off an active HO scale double track mainline and ran on a regular basis.  Engine comes with the shell attached to the chassis and is in the upper compartment of the original styrofoam container Item is being offered for a very reasonable price on minimum bid to encourage bidding.  eBa now offers buyers a variety of ways that they can pay for any auction that they may win.  Once the auction is over we would appreciate your payment within 5 days of the auction ending.  After receiving your payment we will process your order as quickly as possible but pleas realize that it could take up to 5 business days (M-F) to ship.  We do not ship on weekends or holidays.  We sell in the United States only at this time.
