    RARE VINTAGE 1955-1956 Eleanore Welborn DISNEYLAND MAIN STREET U.S.A Plate - EXCELLENT condition.
    This is an extremely rare, beautiful Disneyland plate by Eleanor Welborn Art Productions.
    Elenore Welborn is a famous artist who was given the first license from Disney to sell ceramics inside the park. This started on opening day July 17, 1955 and continued through most of 1956. The art is highly collectible because it is the first generation of Disneyland ceramics and used pre-opening artwork.
    "Manufactured by ELEANORE WELBORN ART PRODUCTIONS MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA ASI" is on the back.
    This mid-century plate is in excellent condition. It is
    dish style, with larger than normal artwork on the surfaces of the 7.5” in diameter plates. The artwork featured is Main Street U.S.A.
    The plate was
    purchased when our grandparents took our mother to Disneyland during its opening year.
    It was recently discovered in the attic, stored and
    wrapped in newspaper for more than four decades and
    we believe it is unused and was never displayed. (See photos)
