BEAUTIFUL PAINTING BY:ARTHUR JOHNSEN
TITLED: "KEAUKAHA PALMS"
PAINTED IN HILO, HAWAII ISLAND, DATED 2002
ARTHUR WAS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR ARTISTS IN HAWAII.
HE UNFORUNETLY DIED A FEW YEARS AGO.
HIS WORK REPRESENTED NOT ONLY THE LANDSCAPES, SEASCAPES OF HAWAII BUT ALSO IT'S PEOPLE.
I REPRESENTED ARTHUR IN MY GALLERY. WHERE HIS WORKS OUT SOLD MY OTHER ARTISTS.
I HAVE OWNED A NUMBER OF HIS WORKS, WITH THIS PAINTING BEING THE FIRST, AND NOW MY LAST.
HE WAS THE ARTIST THAT CREATED THE "NEW IMAGE" OF "PELE", GODDESS OF FIRE. WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE VISITORS CENTER OF THE VOLCANOS NATIONAL PARK.
I HAVE INCLUDED AN IMAGE OF HIS NOW WORLD FAMOUS, "PELE".
IT ISN'T FOR SALE...BUT, I DO HAVE AN ALMOST
LIFE SIZE SIGNED GICLEE
IN MY COLLECTION.
ARTHUR HAD TWO PRINTED IN THIS SIZE. THERE ARE ONLY 2 IN THIS SIZE.
ONE FOR HIM AND THE OTHER FOR ME.
MINE IS SIGNED. IF I DECIDE TO LIST IT, IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE.
MESSAGE ME IF THERE IS ANY INTEREST.
THIS PAINTING REPRESENTS THE TRUE IMAGE OF A HAWAIIAN WOMAN. NOT JUST A PRETTY MODEL ACTING OUT WHAT THEY THOUGHT OF AS PELE.
HIS TIME ON EARTH WAS SHORT BUT HE STILL LIVES IN HIS WORK AS AN ARTIST. FROM MURALS ON BUILDINGS TO CRUISE SHIPS TO PRIVATE COLLECTIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
ARTHUR'S FAMILY PULLED HIS WORK, FROM THE GALLERIES, THAT SOLD THEM. FINDING ONE FOR SALE, ON THE SECONDARY MARKET IS RARE! NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE ONE OF THE LAST WORKS I HAVE.
PLEASE GOOGLE ARTHUR JOHNSEN FOR MORE INFORMATION AND A VERY LARGE COLLECTION OF HIS WORKS, UNDER IMAGES. YOU WILL ALSO SEE THIS PAINTING INCLUDE.
