What a great piece.  Very hard to find these at this SMALL size.  Must have been for herb teas or medicines?  Approx. 5 3/4 inches long with the bowl being 2 1/8 inches.  In untouched condition.  Love it.  It has been in my collection for many years, I can only remember I bought it from a local trader that told me it was purchased from an early estate from the Piedmont area of North Carolina.   The inner rim of this is very "sharp" and hammered to have a rim.  Nice workmanship.    Good Luck on this piece.  I should not be selling this one now.
I'm BACK!  Took a break from selling my personal collection but I'm back listing great items.  I am a collector of many things.  Mostly Civil War, Rev War, Indian Artifacts, Red ware, really anything old and cool.  I collect 18th century American furniture, primarily Southern too.

Please see photos for more description and condition. All items sold "as is" and as described. These artifacts are old and have been used so expect wear and age defects unless noted otherwise. No returns unless description/photographs totally misrepresent item/s.

At age 70  the grand kids have told me that they have no interest in any of the collections in the family’s traveling museum-- MOCAPA. A bit disappointing to hear but well understood in the 21st century. Plus, for me, collecting lacks the attraction that it had in years past as well as the steward collectors. Thanks, joe
