Selling (Lot of 4) U.S. Historical Society Living Image 1982, George Washington 12"tall Benjamin Franklin 11" tall, Thomas Jefferson 12" tall &Abigail Adams 11" tall . All created by a Master Sculptor
. They are very rare and life like dolls as well as the clothes they are wearing.
George Washington
1982 porcelain face and hands 12"tall. His hair on the right side is yellowish. Does not include original box or wooden stand. Signed & numbered on back of neck in gold ink 270/2500
Benjamin Franklin

This realistic and historically accurate of all the dolls are remarkable. Abigail Adams 1982 doll stands 10.5" tall. Signed & numbered in gold ink 270/2500 Abigail was the wife of the second President of the United States, John Adams.

Vintage 1982 American Historical Society "The Great Americans" Living Image doll set includes Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Abigail Adams and George Washington. Created by master sculptor Raymond Lamb in 1982, they are scaled at 2 inches to the foot. All 4 dolls are matching #270 of the Limited Edition series of 2500. Made of bisque porcelain, detailed features with high quality clothing and accessories, Washington and Jefferson are just over 12" tall, Franklin and Adams are about 11". Does not come with their original packaging, only displayed and never played with. They are in excellent condition overall. George Washington has slight yellowish discoloration on the right side wig. The original issue price for each doll was 5.
