Impossible to find Columbian Bronze Corporation's Pentadyne, 5 blade Propeller
Columbian Bronze Corporation was best known for producing top notch propellers for the Coast Guard and the luxury yachts of the day. The Pentadyne was their product designed for better performance and low noise.
We're offering this Circa 1921, Pentadyne,
Right 18P, as an example of they're fine work. Although uncertain, we believe it's off a Coast Guard ship as we got it in a lot with several other items off a Coast Guard ship. The 5 bladed props from that era are especially rare and hard to find.
This would be a terrific display piece for any collector and would look great displayed in any setting. It's been cleaned up, but the patina is still solid.
