This is a quality giclee print on Epson pro glossy photo paper from an original black & white photograph from the 1900's? that was hand colored, the print is shrink wrapped (you may be able to see it in the photo) with caption, and photography information on the back of a Hawaiian girl with a lei, the hand colored photo original was dated 1905? We're not sure if this is a young member of Hawaiian royalty?
It is mounted on a single 8x10 inch mat board and **includes  margins as part of the print (see photo

Please note: it is from a very old original black and white print and hand color print that was originally shot with black & white film, and is a very nice historic and artistic photo, and almost looks like a painting more than a photo. It comes with basic caption information on the back. Our prices are less than you would pay retail at a gallery and production costs are lower than most folks so we want to offer affordable quality art for people who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
It would make a great gift for someone who likes this type of subject or Hawaiiana images. They are popular reasonably priced decorations for restaurants, offices, homes, or stores where people can see them.

When it is cropped and attached to the single mat 8x10" backing board you will be able to see the backing board color around the borders of the print. **It makes the print look like there is a margin at the edges of the photo (which you can see if you look at the photo, it is longer than wide). An 11x14 inch frame (or larger) with a custom cut mat from a frame shop or art store is the suggested way to display this photo.
Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
