    Description

    Japanese asymmetrical longbow Yumi.
    This bow is not an antique - it is intended for practical use - target shooting in Japanese traditional technique.
    Kyudo (???) bow is stylized like Japanese traditional bow, for Japanese martial art of archery.
    Kyudo bow for Ky?d? dojos and members of Kyudo Federation.
    Basis made of ash-tree covers this bow on both sides with strips of bamboo.
    Lacquered with a special non-toxic varnish. We use a handmade adhesive for wood.

    The bow string is made of a special thread designed for bows.
    For the handles we use a leather substitute (leatherette), and a comfortable pad of polyurethane to keep the arm from the calluses.
    We recommend using wooden arrows with natural plumage. It is more historically accurate and aesthetically pleasing.
